Experience in palliative medicine desirable for Clinical Assistant/staff grade posts. For Associate Specialist posts, 7 years experience in Palliative Medicine and possession of diploma in palliative medicine essential.

Structure of training programme:
|
|
SHO grade
|
GP rotation in Oxford and Aylesbury includes 3 months palliative medicine. Staff grade posts in Sue Ryder, Nettlebed and Duchess of Kent House, Reading considered as equivalent SHO training.
