The Windsor Vocational Training Scheme should be acknowledged for
excellence, drawing the best out of all registrars regardless of their
individual abilities. The resulting doctors should be able to
understand the diversity of human relationships and ill health
presenting in primary are, and be able to offer a range of help to
their patients. These General Practitioners should be able to continue
self-motivated learning throughout their careers. They should have
developed self-knowledge and be equipped with skills to provide the
resilience and flexibility to be responsive to changes in the
individual and society's needs of primary care workers. They will be
happy to work in teams with other health professionals.
