Note that course dates are aimed at GPRs in specific VTS districts - please check the list for your district's dates.
Oxford Deanery GPRs are allocated with an educational allowance and courses must be applied for using the Application for Funding
form. A place on
each course
can only be secured by submitting this form to the
Cara Evans at the Deanery, signed by the GPStR, their Trainer and Programme Director, to be received no later than 2 months prior to the course
date. Cancellation of any pre-booked place must be made with the
Deanery and may be subject to a cancellation fee. For more information

LEAD OR BE LED
A 2-day residential interactive, multi-professional leadership programme for junior SpRs, management trainees, GP Registrars, therapists and nurses. Participants will develop their own self-awareness and their awareness of others through:
- exploring their own preferences using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator
- exploring their impact on others and vice versa
- exploring what makes a good team and why it is important
- gaining insight into the structure of the NHS and its accountability to Parliament

CHILD HEALTH SURVEILLANCE COURSE
This course is run by the Banbury VTS Programme Directors and will be held at the George Pickering Postgraduate Centre, John Radcliffe Hospital, Headley Way, Headington, Oxford OX3 9DU. Dates for 2008 are 22nd - 23rd April. Please click here for further details and application form.
